LAS VEGAS – The Eighth Judicial District Court of Nevada is proud to announce the appointment
of Shara Larson as its newest ADR/Discovery Commissioner. Larson brings more than 20 years
of experience in civil litigation and a deep commitment to practical, fair, and efficient dispute
resolution.
Throughout her distinguished career, Larson has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in a
wide variety of matters, including complex commercial litigation, bankruptcy adversary
proceedings, probate, guardianship, and trust administration. She began her career representing
corporations and businesses in complex litigation before transitioning to work with individuals,
giving her a broad understanding of the diverse perspectives and challenges attorneys and litigants
face.
Larson has practiced with several prominent Las Vegas law firms, including serving as a partner
at Larson & Larson and most recently practicing with Ghandi Deeter Blackham. Her extensive
experience includes handling all aspects of civil litigation, such as discovery, motion practice,
settlement negotiations, and trial preparation.
She also holds a certificate in mediation from the Straus Institute of Dispute Resolution at
Pepperdine University, underscoring her appreciation for practical solutions and alternatives to
prolonged litigation.
“I am honored to join the Eighth Judicial District Court as its newest ADR/Discovery
Commissioner,” said Larson. “I look forward to working collaboratively with the Court and the
legal community, and to bringing my experience and perspective to this important role.”
The Eighth Judicial District Court welcomes Commissioner Larson and is confident that her broad
