Camera access to court proceedings is available only to members of the media who have submitted a Media Request Form and have obtained a court order granting the request. Media may submit an electronic Media Request Form through the following procedure.
- Download and complete the applicable Media Request Form below.
- Email the completed form to the department and CC the Court PIO:

- Cc: PIO@clarkcountycourts.us
Email Requirements
- The subject line must include the full case number, filing event code, and case name (example: A-20-12345-C-MROR – Smith v. Doe).
- Send the email to the appropriate District Court department inbox: DC(court number)Inbox@clarkcountycourts.us
Example: If the hearing is in Department 1, send the request to DC1Inbox@clarkcountycourts.us.
Media Guidelines
Media must comply with Nevada Supreme Court Rules for Trial Coverage and Media Guidelines for Camera Coverage of Proceedings in the Regional Justice Center (RJC).
Photography, filming, or recording in the common areas of the Eighth Judicial District Court courthouses is strictly prohibited except as authorized by the Chief Judge, Court Executive Officer, or Court Public Information Officer.
