The public is invited to submit comments regarding the finalists for the position of District Court Commissioner – Civil Commitment and District Court Commissioner – ADR, with the Eighth Judicial District Court. This opportunity for public input is part of a tiered recruitment process established by administrative directive for selecting District Court Commissioners.

The following individuals have been selected as finalists and are moving forward in the hiring process. Public input will be reviewed by the selection panel during the final phase of evaluation:

Each candidate is a licensed attorney and a member in good standing with the State Bar of Nevada. The District Court Commissioners will be responsible for presiding over ADR/discovery matters and civil commitment matters, as well as issuing legal opinions and decisions in accordance with applicable law.
