District Court has set up the technical infrastructure to do videoconferencing at the Regional Justice Center. The devil is in the details on how to best implement it with respect to filings, objections, etc. The topic was introduced at the May Civil Bench Bar and will be discussed again at the June Bench Bar. Some departments have used the system effectively. But as video conferencing use increases, issues are likely to arise.
