The Eighth Judicial District Court has two new additions to the bench: Joseph “Joe” Hardy Jr. to Department 15 and Louis Eric Johnson to Department 20. That means District Court will shuffle courtrooms and calendars. Judge Eric Johnson will assume Judge Jerome Tao’s track and cases and Judge Hardy will handle an all-civil docket. There are other changes including: Judge Richard Scotti assuming Judge Abbi Silver’s track and courtroom; Judge Adriana Escobar presiding over the specialty courts and Judge Linda Bell handling a civil docket.
