A delegation of jurists and dignitaries from Thailand visited the Clark County Courts and were provided a glimpse into various programs of Nevada's largest trial court and limited jurisdiction court.

The delegation was greeted by Eighth Judicial District Court Chief Judge T. Arthur Ritchie, Jr. and Las Vegas Township Justice Court Vice-Chief Judge Melissa Saragosa.

District Court Judge Elissa Cadish provided the visiting judges an overview of how the District Court manages criminal and civil cases. A presentation of the Justice Court's adjudication of criminal defendants provided the judges with a look at how charges originate in the court before they are bound over to the District Court.

Discovery Commissioner Bonnie Bulla explained the District Court's Discovery process in civil cases. Finally, the group was provided a tour of the Regional Justice Center and an overview of the Family Court.
