Other Courts

The Las Vegas Township Justice Court processes filings for the unicorporated communities of Las Vegas. The Court Clerk's Civil Customer Service Office is located on the second floor of the Regional Justice Center, 200 Lewis Avenue. Business hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday thru Friday, excluding holidays.

Other Justice Courts provide services to Henderson, North Las Vegas, Mesquite and outlying areas of Clark County. There are three urban Justice Courts in the Las Vegas valley and eight non-urban Justice Courts in rural Clark County. They have responsibility for matters ranging from felony arraignments and preliminary hearings to small civil cases (up to $10,000), small claims cases (up to $5,000) and landlord-tenant disputes. The justice courts also handle citations issued by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, Nevada Highway Patrol, the Public Service Commission, the state wildlife department, the Motor Carrier Division, school district police and county park police.
