WELCOME

Transcript Video Services provides video recordings as well as typewritten transcripts of Family Court proceedings to attorneys and interested parties. Individuals purchasing copies of the video recordings must do so in person by visiting our office located on the first floor of the Family Courts and Services Center, 601 North Pecos Road, Map, or by mailing in a request along with payment.

When ordering a copy of the video recording, individuals must provide a case number, exact date(s) of hearing(s), department letter or name of the judge who heard the session before ordering.

A Copy of a Previous Court Proceeding may be ordered on CD-Rom for $25.00. Additional hearings may be added at the time of the order for an additional $15.00 per hearing. Each CD-Rom holds up to six hours of proceedings. If a second CD-Rom is required, there will be an additional $25.00 charge for the disc. Individuals may purchase the recording on videotape for Family Court proceedings prior to June 2008 for $25.00.

Additional Proceedings cannot be added onto the CD-Roms once the CD-Rom has been produced, and individuals will be required to purchase a second CD-Rom for $25.00 for any additional proceedings after the CD-Rom has been produced. At the time of placing the order, individuals may request multiple hearing dates at a cost of $25.00 for the first hearing date and $15.00 per additional hearing date.

For Juvenile Court Proceedings, because of the confidential nature of Juvenile Court proceedings, video copies are available only with a specific court order. Obtain the form from this office and submit to third floor reception desk for approval.

Typewritten Transcripts of court sessions are not typed unless requested.

Once the Request For Transcript Estimate form is filled out completely and presented to our office, we will inform you of the estimated cost figured at 75 percent of expected total. After completion of the work, it is likely you will either be asked to pay a small remaining balance or receive a partial refund of deposit.
