Annual Reports
Since 1999 the Eighth Judicial District Court has reported judicial statistics to the Nevada Supreme Court and was one of the first courts in the state to detail its judicial case management in detailed reports.
A review of these statistics has helped the court identify community needs and respond with additional resources. The court has created specialized courts and calendars to manage complex litigation; has enhanced services and streamlined processes to reduce wait time for jurors and litigants; and has developed special programs aimed at finding better ways to manage existing workloads while remaining dedicated to the need for accountability and improved community outreach.
