General Information
The Eighth Judicial District Court of Clark County, Nevada is the largest general jurisdiction court in Nevada. This jurisdiction encompasses all municipalities and outlying communities of Clark County. The court, established in 1909, has a proud history of following a mission that emphasizes intergrity and principles of fairness and access to justice.
Clark County's Eighth Judicial District Court strives to provide innovative service to the community and is led by a management team made up of a Strong Chief Judge, Court Executive Officer, and several Assistant Court Administrators. The court details its many achievements and innovations in its Annual Reports, which have become a forum for showcasing court talents and detailing growth in this urban court.
The Civil and Criminal Divisions of the court are located in the Regional Justice Center, 200 Lewis Avenue, in Downtown Las Vegas. The Family and Juvenile Divisions are located in the Family Courts and Services Center, 601 N. Pecos, Las Vegas.
