After-Hours Filing
Las Vegas Township Justice Court
The Las Vegas Justice Court Clerk's Office does not provide after-hours filing within the Regional Justice Center. Users may electronically file (E-File) document that DO NOT require a Judge's signature on the document. Documents are to be E-Filed to the Justice Court 24 hours-a-day from any computer with internet access for a nominal fee.
Users may E-File through Odyssey E-File & Serve at http://wiznet.wiznet.com/clarknv/pages/login.jsp for a charge of $3.50 for each document. This fee is in addition to any applicable Court filing fees. You must have a credit or debit card (the credit card company charges 11 cents (3%) as a service charge) to E-File and/or E-Serve documents outside of the Regional Justice Center.
Users may E-File documents for free (but will still have to pay any applicable Court filing fees) at the scanning stations located in the Self-Help Center on the 1st floor of the Regional Justice Center, 200 Lewis Avenue in Downtown Las Vegas or in the Justice Court Clerk's Civil Customer Service Office located on the second floor.
Cash, Checks or Money Orders will be accepted for court filing fees at the Justice Court Clerk's Office on the 2nd floor of the Regional Justice Center.
An e-mail address is required to file E-Filed documents and to receive a file stamped copy of your document.
Eighth Judicial District Court
The Clerk of the Court maintains after-hours filing kiosks in the entrances to the Regional Justice Center, 200 Lewis Avenue, in downtown Las Vegas and at the Family Courts and Services Center, 601 N. Pecos, Las Vegas. Please read and follow the directions listed below for easy document handling.
- Only documents that DO NOT require a filing fee are acceptable.
- No "late filings" will be accepted in the Clerk’s Office after 4 P.M. These kiosks will operate until midnight, seven days a week.
- Date stamp all items, including the copies, and paper clip the copies to the original before placing them in the delivery slot.
- Items placed in the delivery slot unstamped will be processed with the following day’s date.
- All items which are in the proper form will be "filed" the next day with a hand stamp and will reflect the same date as the date stamp on the document.
- Items not in the proper form will be returned to the filing party the following day unprocessed.
